Well, it's not like anyone's accusing the US of being particularly progressive right now. Even Europe had to go through the Dark Ages so I'm sure the US will eventually catch up too.

I'm sure the Christian Right will not complain about "activist" judges now. You see, when they judges support your cause then it's not a problem that they could be activist.

    Au contraire.

The New York Court applied the rational basis test and decided in favor of the existing law. How is that "activist"? It's not.

France is a big piece of Europe. That country rejected SSM. Likewise the UK.

Maybe Canada will catch-up with the US and with France and with the UK by revisiting and rejecting the error of "gay marriage".

Ces Européens, et ces Américains, maintiendront la vérité du mariage tout au long de nos "âges foncés" abrégés.

Good call, but I would have focused in particular on Georgia. Don't forget: you're talkin' Dukes of Hazzard country down there. As soon as the legislators leave Hooters and pick the bits of fried buffalo wings out of the six teeth they have left, I'm sure they'll get with the program.

Actually, its funny someone mentioned the dark ages. Wasn't homosexuality rampant during the Roman times and with the Greeks? Talk about regressive. Yes, I would say that Christians are progressive, progressing towards God.

Blake, take a look at all the states that have voted for normal marriage. If you want to be racist against Georgians, no one is here to stop you, but it doesn't look good on you but then I would not put that past the homosexual extremists and their supporters.
