Harper Tied on Environment... WITH MAY???

Wow, this one even surprised me... according to Ontarians, Stephen Harper is tied with Elizabeth May, and only four points behind Dion, on who is the best leader in regards to the Environment.

Narrowly behind Dion, I figured that. But tied with Elizabeth May? Sweetness!

Read all about it at SES Research.

I think the large (26%) don't know belies the poll. It says nothing as it has nothing that could be realible as a base. The error margin must be hoped for because it does not speak to the lack of measurable inputs to the overall sampling. I would consider the poll a bust.
Politically couldn't be better. Socially it speaks volumes of the closet people in Ontario live in or their continued mistrust of Mr. Harper as the big bad Westerner and Dion is one of theirs good or bad!!!!

A large 'don't know' is a good sign for PMSH & Cons, as this poll was taken before today's Eco Trust Fund announcement of $1.5 B (that will be in the budget).
There is no default party for the environment anymore!

And another point to be made... the poll is considered accurate within +/- 4.4%. Which means that, in fact, they are all statistically tied.

I think this is going to be a horse race.

    suresecure, you are incorrect.

based on sample size, and percentages for Dion and Harper, there is actually a 92% chance that Dion is in fact ahead of Harper.

    hardly a statistical tie.

(i'm a harper supporter btw. i just don't like people using the term statistical tie, because it is a made up term the media uses because they don't know how to understand a poll's results.)
