Quebec Election in March?

The PQ is circling the wagons, defending their leader.

In the article, rumor is that the vote will be called at the end of this month, for a date near the end of March. With the polls looking the way they are, Charest stands a pretty good shot at hanging on.

Never thought I'd cheer for a Liberal... GO JEAN! (ideal senario would be a minority, with the ADQ holding the balance of power!)

Wow! What a game this business of politics is! Mar 20 - Federal budget, Mar 23 - Quebec election, May ?? - who knows. Just try to imagine these headlines.
March 21 - Charest re-election bid gets boost from federal Budget.
March 24 - Charest wins big in Quebec
March 25 (maybe a couple weeks later) - Federal Opposition parties vow to defeat Harper Gov't.
There's plenty of time for lots of elections this year.

The only thing is, if Charest does win big in Quebec, would the Bloc want to pull the plug?
