CBC needs to respond to charges of collusion

While I'm not one to publicize who's visiting my wee blog, or to post their tracking information, with the allegations of CBC and Liberal collusion that are floating out there, I felt it was important to this story to go ahead and post this...

They can't feign ignorance on this one. Essentially, I'm going to take this as a formal acknowledgement on the part of the CBC of these allegations.

Now, we're just waiting for the formal explaination.

UPDATE: The CBC has launched an internal investigation after a formal complaint to the CBC Ombudsman by the Conservative Party.

It's a real shame that it took a formal complaint to get this going.

CBC tries very hard to micro-manage its image.

This whole Shreiber Mulroney theater was resurrected and orchestrated by the CBC.

Here is a snippet from the CBC weekend 'hotsheet' with a description of planned programming, this for CBC radio's "The House":

SATURDAY DECEMBER 15, 2007 1. THE HOUSE: This week on The House, guest-host Tom Parry takes Brian Mulroney's inquisitors to task. Liberal Robert Thibault, Conservative Dean DelMastro and the NDP's Pat Martin assess the former Prime Minister’s performance before them at the Ethics Committee. That’s The House, Saturday after World Report at 9 a.m. (9:30 NT) on CBCRadio One.

Turns out the CBC reporters are the inquisitors and they need to take themselves to task for meddling and manipulating!

Cue the CBC logged IP commenter to pooh pooh the significance of CBC's political meddling... they have been doing it so long, they are shocked when confronted.

CBC is nothing more than a wing of the Liberal party, has been for years. Completely cut them off from taxpayer funds and let them float themselves, see how smug they are then.

I am very troubled by the conduct of the CBC, and wonder why other media is not all over this story. I am also disgusted with the disrespectful behaviour of Rober Thibault and Pat Martin. Disgusting and Partisan.

The CBC (via the Fifth Estate) has be the driving force behind this issue for years. They have made it their mission to destroy Mulroney and anybody associated with him. Now that people are engaging, they MUST ensure Mulroney is trashed because anything less would leave them open to a massive lawsuit and expose them for the partisans they are. They fully understand that the only Party willing to fund their trough is the Liberal party and so they need to manipulate the public so the Liberals stay at the helm. Just like having as the lead Liberal inquisitor a person being personally sued by Mulroney is somehow not a problem, having the lead journalists from the Fifth Estate be the main commentators on the testimony is somehow not a problem. This thing stinks and the CBS is the head.

They likely got the press release from the government too.
