Is John Tory now Dion's new campaign advisor?

A commenter over on Warren's blog has summarized Dion's latest gaffe, distancing himself from his own centrepiece plan, better than anyone else, so far...
Dion continues to follow the John Tory gameplan:

1. Introduce controversial policy that you haven't really thought through
2. Watch as your own supporters disown the policy
3. Run away from said policy as fast as possible

Who wants to be that he'll be giving his MP's a free vote by the end of the week?!

At least John Tory had the sense to completely dump his stupid idea. Tory came out and said that he'd reconsidered, and the faith-based school funding idea was no longer being considered (not that it got him elected).

With Dion, he's still planning to move forward with the Green Shaft, but just doesn't want us to focus on it. Basically, he wants to make it his hidden agenda, but won't remove it from the agenda.

    What's wrong with free votes?

Once upon a time, when I was working for the CPC, the first piece of policy I drafted for our, er, I mean, my candidate was that he supported free votes.

The reason I wrote that was to try and put something of a buffer between the candidate and the leader. I felt our candidate was electable in our riding, but not the leader. Free votes would have allowed him to represent the riding, as opposed to the leader.

    Ah, memories

The Green Shift is Dion and the Liberals "secret agenda" to put us all in the poor house.

No doubt the Liberals now realize Dion is like a boat anchor tied around the parties neck.

Meanwhile the Conservative keep steadily climbing in the polls.

Harper and the conservatives are the party that is on our side, even Ontario voters have come to know this too.
