On the bright side of last nights election

It looks like far-left Rush Limbaugh wannabe Al Franken will fail in his bid to take one of the Senate seats in Minnesota... by a mere 764 out of 2,420,816 votes, if the current numbers hold.

Thank goodness... a win by him would be like the second coming of Ted Kennedy!

The US just swung further to the left than Canada so as extreme as Franken is (and he is extreme) the appearance of his radicalism would be cloaked…

What do you think of the votes on the various propositions?

Coleman is trying to avenge his loss to Jesse Ventura.

Who wants to be known as the guy who loses to a wrestler and a comedian, REALLY?!?!?!

I read an interesting story about this race in the MinnPost.com. http://www.minnpost.com/stories/2008/11/05/4373/senate_recount_looms_as_norm_coleman_and_al_franken_lock_up_in_a_classic_battle_of_weakness

Al Franken just came across as too angry and isn't liked by the voters. Some of the comments of party workers are similar to what we heard about Dion.
