President Clinton still a possibility?

Okay, scary tinfoil hat conspiracy theory here...

Obama wins on Tuesday.  The KKK has a fit, and somehow manages to take him out.  (and for the record, I'll personally pray that never happens)

Bidden becomes President.  With all the strife within Democratic Party, who else could he possibly name has his new Vice President?

Bingo, you get Vice President Clinton.  And you all know what I think would happen in that scenario... never make the mistake of underestimating the Clinton's.  Somewhere, somehow, they'd manage to make another "problem" disappear.

Viola... President Clinton.

Okay, time to put the tinfoil hats away kids.

The only thing is that, in this situation, the Vice President must first be confirmed by the Senate. And considering how divisive Hilary Clinton is just in the Democrat camp, I doubt that she would be confirmed by enough of both the Republicans and Democrats to ascend to the position on the nomination alone.

As it is, in previous occasions where the Vice President assumed the office of POTUS, there was no replacement Vice President right through to the end of the term. So, even if Biden had to take over, he would be under no obligation to even nominate somebody to the Vice Presidency.

Good point, however, if anything like this were to happen, it would likely be so early in his Presidency that Bidden would be under significant pressure to name someone.

Although, the next in line after him, if he had no VP, would be Pelosi. (House Speaker, third in line to the Presidency)

    Interesting idea. Unlikely, but plausible.

I'd say HIGHLY unlikely... but just a frightening scenario that popped into my mind the other day.

I think I'd rather have a Pesident Clinton than a President Obama.
