U of Guelph's CSA strikes again

Well, what do you know... the U of Guelph's CSA and have been once again caught red handed, this time attempting to subvert the democratic process simply because they don't like the result.

This time, they've been caught attempting to interfere with the Board elections for Guelph's chapter of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group, trying to get the deadline for nominations, which had already passed, extended in an effort to block the potential nomination of several conservative leaning students.

And just for the record folks... I have the e-mails as proof, graciously provided via "Deep Guelph", who appears to be someone connected with the U of G's CSA who appears to be equally disgusted by the CSA's ongoing antics.

Several of the names of those involved are the same ones who conived to ban Guelph's pro-life group from campus, and who protested retired General Rick Hillier when he visited campus. Looks like another swing and a miss for strike three folks.

Stay tuned for more details, this has all just transpired this morning, so things are still developing...

Just remember that the Left is completely comfortable wielding the coercive power of the State, using censorship, dirty tactics, subversion of democracy, threats of violence and a host of other nasty techniques. And it is because they are so comfortable with these techniques that they have a visceral fear that the Right will do the same thing to them, because (1) it is exactly what they would do under the same circumstances and (2) it does not occur to them that anyone would seek to rise above these techniques.

Why is it that the CSA spends half their time trying to destroy our campus club? It's amazing how out of touch they are with average students.

Maybe one day they'll talk to someone outside their power vacuum and learn what conservatism ACTUALLY is.

What scares me is how they spend the OTHER half of their time...ripping off students and getting rid of groups they don't like. It's like a corner racket.

Check-out the OPIRG site (http://www.opirgguelph.org) - the elections have been pushed back another week (to 31 March) in order to stop the Tory candidates
