Klees campaign "Furious" over Hudak antics

Stephen Taylor's got the scoop on this one.
The Klees campaign characterizes the McCreadie letter as “arrogant”, “pious” a “smear” and “not true”. The Klees campaign argued that while McCreadie and the Hudak campaign initiated the complaint, McCreadie himself was 45 minutes late to the three hour meeting to decide the complaint, which he ultimately lost. Further, the Klees campaign accuses the Hudak campaign of salting the earth, “what is this, winning at all costs?” Further, it was explained that all candidates want party unity and that it is “arrogant” for the Hudak campaign to think that only they hold that card.

Ouch.
And you've got to be a completely inept political moron if you think that they're not letting their supporters know how they feel about it... which is going to translate into lost 2nd ballot support for Tim, end of story, full stop.

And dispite what some folks think, Klees supporters don't have to "move" their second choices from Tim to Christine to send the Hudak campaign a message... all they have to do is vote ONLY for Frank, and thereby deny Tim the 2nd choice vote they'd intended to give him.

If Tim loses over this, then perhaps it's for the best. His "team" will have lost this one for him, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...

Hey, does that SOUND FAMILIAR???

I am not going to argue with you. Instead, I'd like to ask a hypothetical question:

If Tim Hudak wins the leadership, (as a result of selling the most memberships and getting the most people out to vote) Frank comes second and Elliott comes third, will you:

    1. admit that you have completely misread the race,
    2. denounce the dirty tactics that you have been a party to by repeating unfounded rumours and idle gossip, and now apparently by endorsing the use of push polling, and
    3. apologize to the Hudak volunteers you called buffoons and publicly ridiculed as a result of being spun by Elliott's hired guns?

#1 - I haven't misread anything, I've been posting my own thoughts regarding the issues as I see them

#2 - I haven't repeated a single unfounded rumour, I've only mentioned what I've seen MYSELF... trust me, there's plenty of "unfounded rumour" that I've heard that DIDN'T get posted here.

#3 - It's mostly the paid people on Team Hudak that I said anything about... and I'll apologize once I see them getting their act together, IF they win.

Being "spun" by Elliott's "hired guns"? I think not dude... I've pretty much been talking to HUDAK supporters who've been falling off the bandwagon. There's only one Elliott person I've talked to, and he's a guy I've trusted for quite some time, just for the record.

Just so we all have this straight -- if Hudak wins because his campaign has in fact sold the most memberships, convinced the most party members, and got them out to vote, his campaign is still a "comedy of errors?" His team will need to demonstrate to YOU that they "have their act together?"

If Elliott finishes 3rd, your analysis is bang on?

Whether you get this or not, when you talk about the Hudak campaign team, readers assume you are referring to the volunteers. Not certain paid team members. And how do you know who, if anyone, is being paid? How do we? Like it or not you've maligned the whole team anyway.

So the people who have taken the time and effort to make a contribution to the party by working on these campaigns will be rewarded by being smeared on this blog by someone who has done neither.

And that says a lot more about you than it does about them.

Of course, coming from an Anonymous source, you're words wound me deeply...

Just calling it like I see it man... and don't tell me you can honestly say that Team Hudak, the upper level organization, hasn't made a whole wack of errors, regardless of whether or not he wins.

He started this one WAY out in front, so if he doesn't win with 60%+ on the first ballot, then it will prove my analysis correct... he had this thing in the bag to start, and I'm guessing we're gonna go a couple of ballots now because of the campaign.

So he wins, you were right, he loses you were right. cute. how about a prediction? Who is second on the first ballot? the second?

I'm guessing you missed the point... what was a "slam dunk" is now a horse race. Who's fault is that? You know what I think.

Hudak did not sell the most memberships, he came in third.

I think you think you're very very smart. I also think you will be proved wrong.

Tim would never have won with 60% on the first ballot in a 4-horse race. So if you need to set up a fake standard, that's a pretty good one.

But when he wins, it will be as a result of him and his team running a superior campaign, and it would be the decent thing to apologize for publicly attacking his supporters.

If not, you might as well change the name of the blog to back room boy.

I think Hudak will be 3rd on the first Ballot. I think Hudak will 3rd on the 2nd Ballot. Hillier's 2nd Ballot won't save him.

He will probably have a few hours to get a round of golf in before the final ballot.

Christine or Frank, Christine had the best campaign by far but Frank signed up the most members.

Where do the Hudak people go on their 2nd Ballot?
