CBC is reporting that embattled HST Premier Gordon Campbell has announced his retirement... I've been predicting that we'll be hearing something similar from McGuinty in the coming months.

It is almost already too late for McGuinty to go. The leadership race would have to be lightning fast for a new leader to establish him/herself before the election.
