Harper's videos go VIRAL... INTERNATIONALLY

So I'm talking to a Canadian via Skype who lives in Grand Cayman, and she tells me that she walked into a business down there today where the Caymanian owner was, of all things, WATCHING THE YOUTUBE VIDEO OF PRIME MINISTER HARPER SINGING "Sweet Caroline"!

That's right... THE VIDS ARE GOING VIRAL INTERNATIONALLY!

Or, to put it another way, as one great Canadian put it, "Stick that in your pipe, you left-wing kooks!" ;-)

That was fun to hear...and it was not just fun but amazing to be there. I'm still smiling!

Someone needs to get the better quality videos that David Akin posted on Youtube.

Too bad the ones that are on You Tube aren't the one's with the much better video & audio; David Akin's 'On The Hill' has them all & they are 100% better than what we see here!

So much more fun than listening to a political speech at a Christmas party! I think I like the Seeker song the best of his renditions.

Nice tribute to John Lennon too.

I still think this is just another attempt to look human by a scared and desperate loser. If you're so confident, break your fixed term election law again, and let's rumble.

We should petition Buckingham Palace that Stevie should be given a royal command performance maybe a duet with Carla Bruni.

Anon 8:55, are you STILL harping over that "Fixed Term Election" thing ?. That applies ONLY to Majority governments. Let's see Iggy sing Alloetta if it's a french song you want.
BTW, OK, let's have an election and we will see who is left standing.

Ignatieff goes solo, shows Harper not the only singer

At least it was only for a few seconds. And was meant to be only a few seconds. Maybe the problem is the reporting. I really wish the media thought that we had better things to talk about re: our politicians. We do. But sometimes... you'd never notice.

This singing stuff would be fine if the rest of what passes for politics in this country wasn't so... disappointing.

Also (and you might not like me saying his given your name...) I must admit Harper did have better songs.
